Job summary

IDS Inland Deicing Services, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator at the Pittsburgh airport to support glycol recovery and vehicle operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will drive Glyvac Recovery Vehicles and heavy-duty vacuum trucks, collect spent ADF, and perform quality checks while following Inland SOPs.

The role offers seasonal full-time overnights and weekend coverage with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, 2nd and 3rd shifts as required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle safely in various conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools is preferred.
• Driving record meets company insurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow guidelines for equipment operation near airfield personnel and aircraft.
• Promptly collect spent ADF (SADF) and prevent fluid leaks.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment as required.
• Monitor glycol processing equipment for optimum production.
• Perform QA sampling according to Inland SOPs and regulations.
• Learn Glyvac Recovery Vehicles and heavy-duty vacuum trucks safely.
