Job summary

Elite Line Services is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges at the Seattle area airport. You will perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance, diagnose equipment failures, and ensure safe, reliable operation while mentoring junior staff.

Candidates should have 4+ years of mechanical or electrical experience, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and advanced computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, blueprints.
• Read and interpret repair manuals, computer-based programs, schematics, blue prints and manufacture Instruction to perform preventive maintenance, repair and service.

Responsibilities

• Completes and assigns scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; mentors, trains and develops other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance.
• Completes and assigns maintenance involving preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing system jams; conducts shift inspections, cleaning, and/or electrical and mechanical adjustments.
• Monitors system operation; diagnoses equipment failures; ensures equipment is running safely.
• Provides direction and guidance to other personnel; conducts training and mentoring responsibilities; assigns tasks.
