CBRE Government and Defense is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead compliance for airport modernization efforts in the DC metro area. You will coordinate NEPA processes, interface with FAA environmental offices and authorities, and drive permitting and mitigation planning to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a 5–7 year track record in environmental project management, a related Bachelor's degree, and readiness to travel up to 25%. Local candidates preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety or similar education.
• 5–7 years' experience in an environmental project manager or similar role.
• Preferred: OSHA certifications.
• Highly preferred: candidates local to DC/MD/VA area.

Mansioni

• Lead environmental compliance activities for airport construction projects, ensuring NEPA and FAA/regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate environmental assessments, EAs, EISs and categorical exclusions.
• Serve as primary liaison with FAA offices, airport authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop and maintain environmental permitting roadmap covering wetlands, stormwater, hazardous materials, and cultural resources.
