Job summary

Clear Channel Outdoor in Allentown, PA seeks an Industrial/Environmental Designer to lead the design of airport advertising programs, shaping the media environment, integrating displays into terminal architecture.

This hands-on role moves programs from research through presentation and coordination with engineering and fabrication partners, leveraging AI-assisted design and visualization tools to render compelling concepts for partner terminals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of professional experience in industrial design or related spatial design discipline; strong 3D design portfolio.
• Experience with 3D modeling/rendering software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Blender, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, KeyShot) to develop concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design advertising display products/environments for airports, including LED formats and terminal-integrated features.
• Research airport architecture, region, and passenger identity to shape program theme and asset ecosystem.
• Produce renderings and presentations using AI visualization tools to support proposals and reviews.
• Develop displays incorporating passenger information with ads to enhance traveler experience.
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and installation on materials, dimensions, and accessibility.
• Work with display/AV tech about screen formats and digital content integration.
• Travel 30–40% for airport scouting trips, site visits, and surveys.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
