Job summary

Qualifications

• Two semesters of electrical engineering coursework completed.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Understanding of basic electrical engineering design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Preparing electrical engineering documents
• Assisting with the analysis, preparation or modification of reports, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projects
• Performing electrical design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates
• Assisting with the preparation of design and construction budgets
• Designing airport electrical systems such as lighting for runways, taxiways, and aprons
• Technical research and writing
• May assist with field inspection, documentation, and survey work
• Other duties as assigned.
