Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure safe, efficient airport operations and cost control. You will oversee daily activities, coordinate teams, and mentor staff to uphold high safety standards.

The role involves supervising recruitment, scheduling, and performance, while maintaining compliance with company policies. This position offers competitive pay and benefits for full-time employees at our Cleveland area operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team-building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
