Job summary

Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is seeking a Project Manager of Airport Development to lead initial CIP-focused infrastructure projects at MSP and Reliever Airports. You will coordinate with design consultants, ensure budget compliance, and drive feasibility and phasing plans while aligning with MAC standards.

The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and involves frequent interaction with MAC departments, tenants, and regulatory agencies. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in the design and management of construction projects.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree in one of the listed fields and eight years of experience in the design and management of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, schedule, and implement a broad range of aviation projects under the CIP.
• Direct consultants in feasibility studies, design development, and cost scheduling for CIP projects.
• Ensure projects are managed within budget and in compliance with MAC standards.
• Provide technical guidance to architects, engineers, and construction management teams.
• Prepare staff reports and project memoranda for leadership packets.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or related field

Associate degree + 8 years of relevant experience
