Job summary

Metropolitan Airports Commission seeks a Project Manager of Airport Development to initiate, schedule, and implement CIP projects at MSP and Reliever airports. You will work with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop studies, plans, and reports, ensuring costs, priorities, and timing align with approved CIP.

This safety-sensitive role requires a pre-employment drug screen and offers collaboration with MAC departments and external agencies. Applications close Nov 5, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in design and management of construction projects.
• Experience with building facilities, pavement or utilities/infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating design standards and schedules within budgets.

Responsibilities

• Integrate MAC’s mission, vision, values and goals into all responsibilities.
• Develop and implement CIP projects: define teams, scopes, budgets and schedules within budget.
• Direct and review plans/specs for CIP projects for MAC standards and safety.
• Direct consultants in feasibility studies and phasing to establish costs and timing.
• Create presentations and lead project team meetings with stakeholders.
