Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Full Time Customer Assistance Representative at Bradley International Airport. You will greet customers, assist with self-service kiosks, and handle baggage processing while ensuring compliance with FAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Read, write, fluently speak and understand English.
• Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations.
• Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
• Pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting.
• FAA background checks for SIDA where applicable.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Sabre or Passenger Service System experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the airport entry or ticket area.
• Assist customers with self-service kiosks and baggage processing.
• Maintain and troubleshoot kiosk machines and software.
• Verify carry‑on baggage and travel documents (international travel when applicable).
• Assist with checked baggage processing and weight verification.
• Queue lines to manage flow and assistive devices as needed.
• Refer customers to service agents when appropriate.
• Adhere to FAA, DOT, TSA regulations and company policies.
