Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking qualified Superintendents for an ongoing project at Chicago's O'Hare airport. The role involves on-site administration and technical management to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with design specifications.

BS Engineering/Construction Management with 4 years of relevant experience is required; airport project background is preferred. This is a non-hybrid, on-site opportunity with potential for long-term collaboration within the AECOM Hunt team.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering/Construction Management and 4 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Airport construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of systems and phased construction in an operational airport environment.
• Experience in construction compliance, scheduling, sequencing, etc.
• Proficiency in construction documentation, change orders, RFIs, RFQs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project Superintendent and/or Project Manager with on-site administrative and technical management for a range of construction projects.
• Organize and direct construction activities within assigned area to meet design/specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure project safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate with client representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area.
• Interface with field staff and senior management in a coordinated effort.
• Support adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality controls.
