Job summary

Jacobs seeks a proactive Project Engineer to support the Owner’s Representative team on a $2.3B program at Tampa International Airport in Tampa, FL. Based in an active construction trailer or airport office, you will manage submittals, RFIs, Test & Inspection docs, and other contract records.

Key responsibilities include assisting the PM, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining documentation through Kahua PMIS; strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of construction project administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with construction project management systems (PMIS) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned PM to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Perform administrative duties in office and field as needed.
• Familiarize with contract documents and project management software.
• Assist in processing and monitoring progress payments, submittals, document management and distribution.
• Coordinate with Design Builders/Contractors and HCAA staff in meetings.
• Communicate information to project team and stakeholders.
