Job summary

SEH is seeking a Construction Project Representative for Airport infrastructure projects in the Rio Grande Valley. You will verify plans, document field activities, and coordinate material testing while interacting with clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates bring several years in construction, strong communication, and the ability to travel; CAD skills (AutoCAD or MicroStation) are a plus. On-site work in McAllen, TX with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to obtain airport badge including background check.
• Travel as needed for on-site observations and meetings.
• Experience in construction field as Project Representative or contractor.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction on Airport infrastructure projects and verify plans.
• Document day-to-day field activities, coordinate sampling and testing, measure quantities.
• Prepare for preconstruction and progress meetings, negotiate change orders.
• Interact with clients, contractors, airport users, agencies, SEH personnel.
• May assist CAD production and drafting using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
