Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates across the Airports organization. You will maintain records, investigate irregularities, and elevate issues to headquarters as needed.

You will oversee areas such as Dangerous Goods, hazardous waste, FAA, TSA, DOT, FDA regulations, and environmental, safety, security, and OSHA standards, coordinating with leadership and regulatory agencies to safeguard assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Leadership with practical coaching experience.
• Ability to work varying hours and shifts to meet business requirements and workload demand.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates, regulations, and directives.
• Maintain detailed records and present discrepancies to station leadership or headquarters as needed.
• Investigate irregularities and interface with regulatory agencies and internal SMEs.
• Oversee areas including Dangerous Goods, hazardous waste handling, FAA/TSA/DOT/FDA regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Review Internal Control standards to safeguard assets and ensure station financial fitness.
• Conduct compliance reviews and identify, investigate, and resolve concerns.
• Interacts with American Airlines leadership and external regulatory agencies.
