Job summary

National Aviation Services is seeking a Full Time Supervisor in Austin, TX. The role oversees building maintenance tasks, drills, and supervising cleaners, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include scheduling, issuing supplies, and coordinating with the Station Manager; maintaining shift records and BM checklists every day. The position requires a driver’s license and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must clock in/out at the beginning and end of the scheduled shift.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding flight schedules.
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access to SIDA, if applicable.
• Must secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
• A valid driver’s license is required by airport authority to operate a vehicle/equipment.
• Demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to fellow employees, airline personnel, passengers, and other company employees.

Responsibilities

• Assigns tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
• Issues supplies and equipment.
• Resolves employees’ problems and/or refers matters to manager.
• Records employees' hours worked on shift reports.
• Completes all necessary BM checklists and/or documentation daily.
• Submits requests for repair of cleaning equipment as needed.
• Requisitions or purchases cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Performs all duties of Building Maintenance Cleaners supervised.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities including training, planning, assigning and directing work, and addressing complaints.
