Job summary

The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology seeks the top security executive at the Philadelphia International Airport to coordinate security initiatives and standards. You will manage cybersecurity policies, controls, and the workforce responsible for protecting data, applications, and networks at the airport.

You will report to the Airport CIO, lead risk assessments, audits, and vendor coordination to ensure robust security and compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, system analysis, software engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of eight years of work experience.
• Experience managing a team and demonstrated project management skills.
• CISSP credential such as CISSP-ISSAP/ISSEP/ISSMP is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise CIO and Airport Leadership on cybersecurity issues, policies, and practices.
• Direct design approvals of security systems and oversee security personnel networks.
• Coordinate hiring, training, evaluation and mentoring of security staff.
• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Oversee incident response planning and investigations of breaches.
