The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology seeks the top security executive at the Philadelphia International Airport to coordinate security initiatives and standards. You will manage cybersecurity policies, controls, and the workforce responsible for protecting data, applications, and networks at the airport.

The Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) is the central IT agency for the City of Philadelphia headed by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). OIT oversees all major information and communications technology initiatives for the City of Philadelphia - increasing the effectiveness of the information technology infrastructure, where the services provided are advanced, optimized, and responsive to the needs of the City of Philadelphia’s businesses, residents, and visitors. OIT responsibilities include: identifying the most effective approach for implementing new information technology directions throughout city government; improving the value of the city’s technology assets and the return on the city’s technology investments; ensuring data security continuity; planning for continuing operations in the event of disruption of information technology or communications services; and supporting accountable, efficient and effective government across every city department, board, commission and agency.
This job is the top security executive at the Philadelphia International Airport and will report directly to the Airport’s Chief Information Officer. The employee will coordinate security efforts and will identify security initiatives and standards. Establishes and manages the Department of Aviation security policies and processes controlling the workflow and integrity of data, applications, systems, and networks. This position is accountable for the management and direction setting of the Airport’s cybersecurity policies and controls at the Philadelphia International Airport.

Security Requirement:
Must pass and maintain SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) and AOA (Airfield Operations Area) clearance at the time of appointment and during tenure of employment.
Salary Range cannot exceed $200,000
Work Setting: in-person (onsite)
The successful applicant will be required to submit to a fingerprint background check per CJIS policy.
