Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
• Strong problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across multiple partners.
• Familiarity with OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, EPA, HACCP and DOT/FMCSA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Organize and staff the department to meet flight service and delivery timelines across all shifts.
• Lead daily shift briefings and ensure clear handoffs.
• Dispatch and route planning aligned to flight schedules with real-time adjustments.
• Ensure fleet readiness and coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance.
• Maintain safety, security, and temperature control logs; support audits.
• Monitor on-time service and drive staffing to meet productivity targets.
• Provide coaching and development for drivers and dispatchers.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve exceptions and maintain service levels.
