LAZ Parking is seeking a part-time Weekend Cashier at the Columbia Airport location. The role requires courteous interactions, accurate cash handling and the ability to manage various parker types, such as tenants, visitors, and employees.

Responsibilities include collecting fees, giving correct change, answering parking questions, and maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure. High school diploma or GED preferred; parking experience is a plus. Flexible weekends are expected.

• Field additional duties if assigned.

Position: Cashier

Part-Time Weekends

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 8am-4:30pm but flexibility preferred!!

Location: Columbia Airport

Hourly Rate: $12.00/HR

The Spirit of the Position

The Cashier is the front line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging and interacting with all customers entering and exiting the facility. The position requires cash handling, making correct change, monitoring transactions, etc. for the Columbia Airport.

Requirements

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Customer service experienced is highly preferred.
• Parking experiences is plus, but not required.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Skills

• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
