Job summary

Quantem Aviation Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead Cargo Agent to supervise cargo handling operations, assist customers and route shipments for air transport. The role combines hands-on duties with leadership and safety oversight.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, must read and follow written instructions in English, hold a valid driver's license, and obtain the SIDA badge or pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of the SIDA airport badge or background check process is required for this location.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and guides operational work performed by peers.
• Expedites and routes movement of incoming and outgoing cargo.
• Monitors and reports deviations from operational standards.
• Loads and unloads freight safely and organizes freight within warehouse.
• Ensures safety standards are met.
