Job summary

High Flying Foods is seeking an experienced Bartender for our New Belgium Brewing restaurant in Denver, CO. You will welcome guests, craft beverages, upsell, and ensure high service standards in a fast-paced airport setting.

You must have 2+ years of bartending experience, open availability including nights/weekends/holidays, and strong communication. Benefits include insurance, paid vacation, 401(k) with match, and employee meals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift.
• RBS Certification must be obtained within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide patrons to help determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, upsell and take drink orders
• Check identification and strictly follow all ABC guidelines to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
• Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages and food orders to customers
• Inform customers about new menu items and specials
• Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
• Serve food and remove used dishware, cutlery and glassware in a timely fashion
• Carefully assess customer alcohol intake to avoid overserving
• Adhere to all food safety, service, and quality regulations
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
• Maintain a clean work environment by helping clean the dining area, tables, bar area, including and washing glasses, utensils, and applicable equipment
• Other duties as assigned
