Job summary

Elite Line Services seeks an experienced maintenance technician to service Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges at the Hawaii airport. Responsibilities include preventive and emergency maintenance, diagnosing faults, and assisting senior staff with complex tasks.

The role requires basic electrical/mechanical skills, ability to read manuals and blueprints, and willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays. Safety training is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum 2 years of previous mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges.
• Mentors, trains and assigns tasks of other personnel in the absence of Senior Technicians and/or Supervisors.
• Performs preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clears system jams, conducts shift inspections and adjustments.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safe operation.
• Reads repair manuals, schematics, and supervisor instructions; follows safety training and company procedures.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and engineering drawings; works in confined spaces with PPE and fall protection.
