Job summary

SP+ in the United States is hiring an Airline Baggage Handler in Kenner, LA. You will verify passenger boarding passes, move bags to the security induction belt, and support the loading process with airport teams.

This physically demanding role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, pass background and drug screens, obtain an airport badge, and communicate clearly with passengers. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to clear a background and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, pull throughout shift.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Verify passenger boarding passes with their checked bag and move bags to the security screening induction system.
• Load passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt.
• Work closely with airline ticket counter agents.
