Job summary

SP+ in Kentucky is hiring an Airline Baggage Handler to verify boarding passes and move bags through the airport security process. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and obtain an airport badge.

You will communicate with passengers and work with ticket counters to ensure smooth baggage flow. Eligible staff receive competitive hourly pay and a benefits program, with opportunities for training and career growth within SP+.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to clear a background and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, pull throughout entire shift.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication using proper grammar, tone, and pronunciation with customers.
• Complete all required training including airport compliance.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Communicating effectively and clearly. Asking each passenger the safety and security questions.
• Loading passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt.
• Working closely with the Airline ticket counter agents.
