Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring a BSO Representative to join the airport team at Orlando. You will assist customers with delayed, damaged or pilfered baggage, handle claims, and work closely with airline staff to ensure smooth baggage service operations.

Ideal candidates are 18+, authorized to work in the U.S., with strong communication and customer service skills; airport badge eligibility is required and prior airline experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must clear a background and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs throughout the shift.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete required training including airport compliance.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.
• Airline experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with airline passengers in a courteous, efficient, friendly and professional manner.
• Process delayed, damaged and pilfered baggage claims per policy.
• Update baggage tracking files accurately in the system.
• Close resolved baggage claims promptly as policy allows.
• Manage baggage tasks in the workflow system.
• Coordinate baggage forwarding with service providers.
• Assist customers with damaged, pilfered, lost or delayed items.
• Process baggage refunds and interim expenses.
