Job summary

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners seeks an Airport Manager - Airlines to oversee airline and tenant relations, lease negotiations, and program development at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Candidates should have a strong background in airport management, contracts, and personnel leadership.

Responsibilities include managing airline signatory agreements, coordinating with the aviation team, ensuring compliance with federal and county policies, and driving revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or closely related field.
• Four years in airport management including one year of supervisory experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license during employment.
• Experience with lease/contract management and airline relations.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) Administration Division - Airline Management Section.
• Negotiate leases and airline service agreements and related permits.
• Develop policies, procedures and priorities to meet goals.
• Coordinate with air service development team to promote the airport.
• Lead staff development and performance evaluations; manage airline team.
• Prepare specialized reports and analyses for the Airline Section and annual budget considerations.
