Job summary

City and County of Denver is hiring a Maintenance Liaison at the Denver International Airport Field Maintenance Center. The role supports onboarding, training coordination, and administrative tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The position requires strong administrative skills, ability to handle confidential information, and capacity to work with internal/external partners. Shift is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with occasional extended hours during emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of public contact experience involving the explanation of regulations, policies, or procedures.
  • License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License required at time of application.

Responsibilities

  • Assist new employees with onboarding processes and guide them through workplace programs.
  • Provide friendly support to department employees with routine administrative matters.
  • Maintain training records and enter completed training into systems.
  • Schedule training, maintain training lists, and track completion of required training.
  • Create work orders and prioritize them for supervisors or managers.
  • Support other administration team members and prepare documents and reports.
  • Update department websites and online systems with accurate information.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and related purchasing paperwork.
  • Coordinate department meetings and events and assist with special activities.
  • Maintain confidential employee information and security access data.
