Job summary

Responsibilities include designing hardware, software and interfaces, validating system performance, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure compliance and successful integration. A BS in engineering and 2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering with focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
