Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes in North Charleston, South Carolina is seeking Airplane Electronic Engineers (Mid-Level & Lead) to join the 787 Electronic Systems team. You will develop and support avionics, integrated modular avionics, network systems and electrical subsystems in a sustaining production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related)
• 5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination

Responsibilities

• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with customers
• Translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specs
• Test and validate designs to meet operational and functional requirements
• Monitor supplier performance for system integration and compliance
• Research technology advances for potential application to business needs
