Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Airplane Electronic Engineer (SME) to join the 787 Electronic Systems team. You will lead development and sustainment of avionics and modular avionics across the product lifecycle in a demanding production environment.

Required are a BS in Engineering and 14+ years of related experience, with strong leadership and systems integration skills; preference for DO-254/DO-178/ARP-4754 experience and aviation certifications. Relocation offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
14+ years of related experience or equivalent.
Experience in aerospace hardware development and qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead customer-driven requirements and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Translate requirements into system architecture and interface specifications.
Oversee testing and validation to ensure designs meet requirements.
