Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers needing wheelchair assistance at client sites. The role is customer-service oriented, with tipping allowed and encouraged, potentially boosting weekly earnings.

Responsibilities include safe transport of passengers in wheelchairs, assisting with baggage, coordinating with dispatch and gate agents, and completing incident reports.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers.
• Provide positive interpersonal interaction with passengers.
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes.
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from retrieval point to destination.
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary.
• Complete thorough Incident Reports.
