Job summary

DO & CO AG in New York is seeking a Dispatcher to lead a large team of drivers and support staff, ensuring on-time flight dispatch and strict compliance with aviation and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, relaying critical information from airline clients, and maintaining transportation records.

Applicants should be comfortable working long hours, shifts including nights and weekends, and must complete airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and support a large team of drivers and driver helpers, including managing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
• Receive and relay important incoming calls and information from airline clients and the airport to the respective departments.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations as outlined in the Food Safety Management System Handbook.
• Report any food safety concerns to the manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
• Ensure all vehicles are in proper working condition, including compliance, fueling, and maintenance.
• Process and manage meal ordering information, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to all relevant departments.
• Maintain a safe workplace, providing general information to the public and relevant parties regarding department policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Create, review, and maintain reports as needed.
• Update and manage transportation databases.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management while upholding DO & CO standards.
