Job summary

Accommodations Plus International (API) is seeking an Airline Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Carmel, IN. You will process hotel and ground transport reservations, maintain relationships with our airline partner, and deliver professional, courteous service to customers.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a Thursday–Monday schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

Ability to positively present API in customer facing situations.
Customer service background is a plus.
Airline/Hotel/Travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as API’s on-site liaison with the airline partner, providing support, guidance and training.
Process client requests received from the airline through the API Operations system. Assess all customer needs; responses must be prompt, accurate and professional.
Follow-up on all client requests and transactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Alert supervisor on items of critical nature requiring management involvement.
Negotiate with vendors (Hotels, Ground Transportation) to achieve best outcomes for client and API.
Resolve client disagreements calmly and present solutions based on facts.
Use Reservation Systems (ACES, Hotel Express, IHRS) to track and provide solutions.
Adapt to irregular operations (IROPS) and be available for on-call needs outside regular hours.
Maintain knowledge of API’s call center methodology and training requirements.
