Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) seeks an Airline Services Technician–Engineer in Pittsburgh to maintain and repair conveyor systems and equipment across the baggage handling network. The role involves preventive maintenance, unscheduled repairs, and major overhauls, collaborating with Electricians and Mechanics to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus an apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Five years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools and have PA Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of safety practices and welding (ARC, MIG, TIG) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Repair and overhaul conveyors, belts, pulleys, rollers, and structures.
• Carry out light fabrication and component overhaul (gearboxes, drives).
• Troubleshoot electrical controls including ladder logic and VFDs.
• Work with electricians and mechanics as part of a crew.
