Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Dallas, TX is seeking an Airfreight Supervisor to oversee the timely and accurate movement of air shipments and related documentation. The role will focus on profitability, cost control, and KPI achievement within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and providing quotes to customers and overseas offices. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience with Airfreight operations and documentation in freight forwarding or airline environment.
• 1+ years' leadership experience preferred.
• DG/Hazmat/TSA regulation working experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee air freight movement and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Manage ground cost margins and prepare monthly activity/revenue reports.
• Provide rate quotations to customers and overseas offices.
• Lead vendors to ensure high service levels and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, bills of lading, and KPIs; support budgets.
