Job summary

Pratt Whitney in Asheville, NC is seeking an inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections of turbine airfoils and related components. You will use established procedures and measurement tools to verify dimensions and classify material as pass/fail, supporting production with accurate records.

The role requires 2+ years in inspection or quality, a high school diploma or GED, and U.S. citizenship. The position is onsite with a 2nd shift schedule (M-Th, 4:15 PM–2:45 AM).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of inspection or quality experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of turbine airfoils and related equipment.
• Follow written inspection procedures, drawings and instructions to verify dimensions.
• Prepare logs, QA forms and records; refer non-conforming material for rework.
• Troubleshoot with measurement equipment and arrange for repairs as needed.
