Job Description Summary

As an Airfoil Casting Tooling Project Manager, you will support the achievement of business outcomes related to tooling through strong operating rhythms, deployment of lean tools, and continuous process improvement. This role directly influences the team's ability to deliver quality and on-time tooling. It requires a high "say do ratio" and the ability to process and analyze data and stakeholder feedback to support business decisions.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage airfoil casting tooling throughout its entire life cycle, from quote to retirement, to support delivery schedules.
  2. Project manage tooling to ensure it is built and qualified to meet delivery schedules.
  3. Lead engagement with other functions (Quality, Engineering, Commercial Ops, Compliance, Finance, etc.) to ensure tooling qualification milestones are met.
  4. Review ongoing performance against milestones, evaluate misses, and work with leaders to deploy corrective actions or escalate issues as needed.
  5. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to foster effective partnerships.
  6. Support daily management processes and standard work for airfoil casting vendors.
  7. Own tooling KPIs, including budget, standard work, and operating rhythms.
  8. Communicate complex messages clearly to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  9. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on the tooling value stream.
  10. Develop and propose solutions outside set parameters to address complex, day-to-day problems.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
  2. A minimum of 3 additional years' experience in manufacturing or supply chain roles.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers are contingent upon obtaining necessary authorization from the U.S. Government.
