Job Description Summary

As an Airfoil Casting Tooling Project Manager, you will support business outcomes related to tooling through operating rhythms, lean tools deployment, and process improvement. This role influences quality and on-time delivery, requiring a high "say do ratio" and data analysis skills.

This role requires up to 20% travel.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Manage airfoil casting tooling throughout its lifecycle from quote to retirement to support delivery schedules.
  • Project manage tooling to ensure it is built and qualified on time.
  • Lead engagement with functions such as Quality, Engineering, Commercial Ops, Compliance, and Finance to meet milestones.
  • Review performance against milestones, evaluate misses, and implement corrective actions or escalate issues.
  • Develop supplier relationships to foster effective partnerships.
  • Support daily management and standard work for airfoil casting vendors.
  • Own tooling KPIs, including budget, and manage operating rhythms.
  • Communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders for alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects in the tooling value stream.
  • Propose solutions beyond set parameters for complex problems.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Minimum 3 additional years of relevant experience.
