Qualifications

• Eight (8) years minimum prior related work experience in a FAR Part 139 Commercial Service Airport, including management of five or more employees.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education may substitute for preferred degree requirements.
• FAA Private Pilot’s license preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Must pass ten-year fingerprint-based background check and Security Threat Assessment (STA).

Responsibilities

• Manage Ramp Control operations with aircraft pilots for safe movement & parking.
• Conduct daily airfield inspections per 14 CFR Part 139 and 49 CFR Part 1542.
• Make critical decisions during emergencies per FAA/TSA standards.
• Oversee contractors, agencies, and tenants for FAA/TSA compliance.
• Maintain essential airport documents and NOTAMs as needed.
• Perform TSA 49 CFR Aviation Worker Screening.
• Coordinate with staff & tenants; train personnel.
• Handle administrative duties and scheduling including weekends/nights.
