Job summary

Florida driver license required, CDL within six months. Work involves outdoor/indoor settings and coordination with airfield operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum six months of documented automotive/equipment repair experience.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning equipment to identify issues.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections or repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and part replacements.
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools and machines.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area.
• Document maintenance and repair activities on work orders and logs.
• Order and track parts and fluids for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Run vehicles or equipment sitting idle on a weekly basis.
• Escort contractors and vendors as needed.
• Assist Level I and II technicians in maintenance and repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Drive vehicles on airport ramps and coordinate radio directions with ATC.
• Conduct FAR Part 139 airfield inspections and assess airfield conditions.
