Job summary

TKDA is seeking Construction Coordinators (Radio Car Operators) to monitor airfield vehicular movement and escort vehicles during MSP construction projects. You will coordinate with air traffic control, contractors and tenants, and help ensure security and safety on airfield operations.

Responsibilities include inspections support for runways, lighting, perimeter security and emergency response assistance, with flexible hours during peak construction season and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in law enforcement, security operations or emergency response management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead coordination discussions before and during construction operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airfield driving privileges within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicular activity and provide vehicle escorts for access to airfield during construction, maintenance, and deliveries.
• Coordinate movement and closure with air traffic control, contractors, and airport tenants.
• Monitor construction and airfield operations for security and compliance with safety plans.
• Assist with inspections of runways, taxiways, lighting, perimeter security and safety areas.
• Assist airport security and emergency services during severe weather or airport emergencies.
