Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking an Aviation Planner Team Lead to guide airport planning projects at major commercial and general aviation facilities. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budget, and schedules, and ensure FAA compliance across ALPs, master plans, and CIP programs.

The role emphasizes client relationships, staff development, and strategic guidance on airport development programs, with a focus on safe, efficient, and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Planning or related field.
  • 8+ years of aviation planning experience.
  • 5+ years of project management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with FAA-funded airport planning projects.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage aviation planning teams in the delivery of airport planning projects.
  • Serve as project manager and technical lead for master plans, ALPs, and CIP.
  • Direct planning for runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals.
  • Oversee airfield geometry analyses and FAA design standard compliance reviews.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and client communications.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers, and environmental specialists.
  • Develop and review technical reports, planning documents, and FAA coordination materials.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement through workshops and public meetings.
  • Mentor junior planners and support staff; support BD activities.
  • Monitor FAA policy updates and airport funding opportunities.
