Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Washer in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role involves washing aircraft and components, moving aircraft with towing equipment, and operating ground support equipment to prepare and maintain aircraft for service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months aviation maintenance or flight line experience.
• Must meet government/company licensing, certification, or clearance requirements.
• Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Requires lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Must have reading, writing, and English communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work all assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove protective covers.
• Move aircraft using towing equipment.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Wash and rinse external and internal surfaces of aircraft and components.
• Polish windscreens/canopies and clean with compounds.
• Perform pre/post wash lubrication following standard procedures.
• Comply with FOD, Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control programs.
• Utilize two-way communication equipment.
• Perform other qualified duties as required.
