Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking an Aircraft Technician II for lab test activities in a high-precision environment. You will perform complex inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with FAA requirements and internal standards.

The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience (or 4 years including 2 years on mid/large aircraft). A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification required.
• X years of aviation maintenance experience required (see education).
• Experience with Catia and Smarteam preferred.
• Knowledge of aircraft hydraulics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
• Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection to ensure FAA compliance and proper documentation.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety requirements.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
• Provide training to less experienced technicians and ensure proper tagging of customer property.
