Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join a high-reliability team supporting Learjet aircraft nationwide. You will perform with precision, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure regulatory compliance across Part 135/145 operations.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, an A&P certificate, and willingness to travel to support multiple locations. A complete toolset and flexible scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
  • Compliant with 14 CFR Part 65.83.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic inventory management and computer data entry.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including night shifts.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must own a complete set of maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Learjet aircraft and related engines.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure aircraft readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, including Parts 135 and 145.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high safety and efficiency standards.
  • Manage inventory and accurately enter data into computer systems.
  • Travel occasionally to support maintenance needs at various locations.
