Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC seeks an FAA-certified Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) to perform line and heavy maintenance on Learjet 60s across its 34-city U.S. network. You will troubleshoot, repair, and service to manufacturer manuals and FAA data, with workshops led by the Director of Maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of Part 65.83 experience and PW305A engine exposure. Expect 10–12 hour shifts in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P ratings required.
• 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve phase inspection, service, and repair issues with the Director of Maintenance
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Expect 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60/hr starting, $70/hr for experienced leads (+$5/hr if based in El Paso, TX or Titusville, FL)

Schedule: 8 on / 6 off rotation, or Monday–Friday for El Paso/Titusville residents

Home base: Live in any of 34 major U.S. airport cities – we fly you to the work
