Job summary

SA-TECH, a DoD contractor, seeks an Aircraft Mechanic Helper at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA to support aerial target operations and maintenance. The role involves hands-on maintenance on aerial targets and related systems under supervision, ensuring safety and readiness.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years of maintenance experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in performing general maintenance and repair.
• Works well with others as a member of a team.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain interim and final DoD security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on targets under direct or indirect supervision.
• Assist in organizational level repair of engines or structures.
• Work on electronics, avionics, and launch systems related to aerial targets.
• Maintain safety and tool control, and operate forklift/overhead crane as qualified.
