Key Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to aircraft systems performance (e.g., engine data, flight parameters, fuel consumption, component health). Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools and dashboards to visualize key metrics. Identify anomalies, deviations, and potential issues within aircraft systems, providing root cause analysis. Generate regular reports and present findings to engineering, operations, and management teams. Develop recommendations for performance improvements, maintenance optimization, and cost reduction strategies. Collaborate with technical teams to validate findings and implement recommended changes. Stay informed about aircraft systems, operational procedures, and relevant aviation regulations. Contribute to the development and refinement of data analysis methodologies and best practices. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of analyses, findings, and recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the aviation industry or with complex mechanical/aerospace systems. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, MATLAB, or similar. Experience with database management and SQL. Strong understanding of aircraft systems, performance metrics, and aviation operations. Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
