About the Role

Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing and production sector, is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Remote Senior Operations Analyst . This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be instrumental in dissecting complex operational data, identifying trends, and developing strategic insights to drive efficiency and profitability across our manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, advanced analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets related to manufacturing operations, including production output, costs, quality metrics, and supply chain performance. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational trends. Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction through in-depth data analysis. Model different operational scenarios to forecast outcomes and support strategic decision-making. Collaborate remotely with site operations teams, engineering, finance, and management to understand operational challenges and opportunities. Develop business cases for proposed operational changes, outlining expected benefits and implementation requirements. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner. Stay abreast of industry best practices in operations analysis and data science. Design and implement A/B testing or pilot programs for new operational strategies. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reporting. This is a fully remote position.

Requirements

Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in operations analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar. Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and operational metrics. Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated experience working effectively in a remote team environment. This is a fully remote position.
