Job summary

Eagle Technologies, LLC, Newport News, VA, is seeking an Aircraft Systems Engineer to support design, integration, testing, certification, and sustainment of aircraft systems throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a strong background in electrical or electronic systems engineering and experience in the aerospace and prototype aerospace industry. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to meet customer requirements and program objectives for a novel aircraft concept.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Electronic, Systems or Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with MBSE and systems engineering processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and manage aircraft system requirements and architectures.
• Integrate electrical, avionics, software, and mission systems into aircraft platforms.
• Perform system design, verification, and validation activities.
• Prepare engineering reports and design documentation.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, quality and certification teams.
