Job summary

Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) seeks a seasoned Engineering Lead / Lead Engineer to take aircraft-level technical ownership within a novel aircraft development program. This is a hands-on individual contributor role following a clean-sheet, eVTOL or unconventional aircraft toward first flight or certification.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of aircraft-level architecture and design across systems.
• Strong focus on requirements, interfaces and traceability throughout the program.
• Deep experience with verification, validation and certification activities and deliverables.
• Proven track record working with aviation regulators or certification authorities.
• Ability to lead technically while coordinating with subcontractors and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the aircraft-level architecture and design across systems.
• Define and maintain aircraft/system requirements, interfaces and traceability.
• Lead verification and validation strategy with evidence from tests and analyses.
• Establish certification basis and means of compliance for the aircraft.
• Drive the certification program and maintain engineering evidence.
• Lead interactions with regulator and certification authorities.
• Direct specialists and subcontractors for additional certification/safety expertise.
• Help build scalable systems engineering, safety and certification processes as the program matures.
